Palm Sunday

Holy week starts with the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as the people wave palms and shout Hosanna (God save us). We will celebrate during our morning services.

Sunday , April 10
Traditional worship in the sanctuary and online at 9AM
Contemporary worship in the Family Life Center at 11AM

Feel free to stay after the second service and walk the Stations of the Cross.

Stations of the Cross

Through several interactive stations, the Stations of the Cross experience is designed for participants to walk the path of Jesus in the last hours before his crucifixion and burial. It provides ways to engage, confess, pray, and lament, creating profound Holy Week worship experience. Adults and children are invited to walk through the stations at anytime the church is open.

Schedule:
Palm Sunday, April 10: 12PM - 5PM
Monday-Thursday, April 11-14: 9AM  - 4PM
Good Friday, April 15: 9AM - 5PM

Maundy Thursday

This service will take place on Thursday, April 14th in the Family Life Center at 7PM.
The English word "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum, which means "commandment." As recorded in John's gospel, on his last night before his betrayal and arrest, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, shared a meal, and then gave them a new commandment to love one another as he had loved them (John 13:34).

We will celebrate the Lord's Supper together and there will be an handwashing element as part of the service.

Good Friday

Join us for a meaningful Tenebrae service in the Sanctuary on Friday, April 15 at 7PM.
The Service of Tenebrae has a rich tradition in the church dating back to the eighth century. Tenebrae is a word derived from Latin meaning “darkness.” Through word and music, this service dramatizes the suffering, death, and burial of Jesus Christ.
As the service moves from light into darkness, the diminishing light symbolizes the fading devotion of the apostles as well as the gradual dying of our Lord.

Easter Sunday

“Easter begins in the shadows, well before sunrise. This is the way resurrection works; it gathers itself in the darkness and can be difficult for us to recognize at first light.” — Jan Richardson, Circle of Grace: A Book of Blessings for the Seasons
Gather with us as we celebrate the gift of resurrection and unending love in Christ.
