Schedule:
Wednesday April 5th

Maundy Thursday

This service will take place on Thursday,  April 6th in the Family Life Center at 7PM.
The English word "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum, which means "commandment." As recorded in John's gospel, on his last night before his betrayal and arrest, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, shared a meal, and then gave them a new commandment to love one another as he had loved them (John 13:34).

We will celebrate the Lord's Supper together and there will be foot and hand washing element as part of the service.

Good Friday

Join us for a meaningful Tenebrae service in the Sanctuary on Friday,  April 7th at 7PM.
The Service of Tenebrae has a rich tradition in the church dating back to the eighth century. Tenebrae is a word derived from Latin meaning “darkness.” Through word and music, this service dramatizes the suffering, death, and burial of Jesus Christ.
As the service moves from light into darkness, the diminishing light symbolizes the fading devotion of the apostles as well as the gradual dying of our Lord.

Easter Sunday

“Easter begins in the shadows, well before sunrise. This is the way resurrection works; it gathers itself in the darkness and can be difficult for us to recognize at first light.” — Jan Richardson, Circle of Grace: A Book of Blessings for the Seasons
Gather with us as we celebrate the gift of resurrection and unending love in Christ.
