Part-Time Office Manager
First United Methodist Church of O’Fallon is hiring a part-time Office Manager. Introduction letters and resumes should be emailed to careers@offumc.org
Essential duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for staff, congregants, volunteers and guests
- Handling church communications and publications, creating and distributing bulletins and newsletters.
- Assisting with scheduling meetings, renting church equipment and facilities, and enforcing church policies for facility use.
- Purchase and manage inventory of cleaning and office supplies
- Facilitate regular maintenance and emergency service of equipment as needed
- Request and facilitate inspections as necessary to ensure compliance with local and federal ordinances
Professional qualifications
- Office management or administrative skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.
- Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information.
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills
- Ability to balance and prioritize many simultaneous projects, flexibility
- Ability to work both independently and as the manager of a team
